February 12 is Charles Darwin’s 216th birthday. VSHA traditionally celebrates Darwin’s birthday each year, recognizing him as a great broad-based multidisciplinary scientist. His deduction of the mechanism for natural selection was a milestone in the science of evolution. But where’s the data?
Come out to this year’s presentation on an unforgettable part of Darwin’s scientific life, his experiences as a young man on the voyage of the British Navy’s HMS Beagle. -BW
